This Special Superfan Watches as Blues Win the Stanley Cup!

Laila Anderson celebrates with the St. Louis Blues after winning the Stanley Cup

Meet 11-year-old Laila Anderson. She is living with a rare, life-threatening immune disease called HLH. Anderson is one of 15 children to suffer from this rare condition. According to Johns Hopkins Medical, the disease makes a person’s white blood cells attack other cells, severely affecting one’s immune system.

But, that hasn't stopped her from cheering on her favorite hockey team, the St. Louis Blues, as they competed for the Stanley Cup vs. the Boston Bruins. During their playoff run, the Blues took notice and have embraced Laila as part of the team and even inviting her to Boston for their Game 7 matchup vs. the Bruins. Her incredible reaction was caught on video:

Well, she was at the game when the St. Louis Blues defeated the Boston Bruins 4-1 and Laila was able to celebrate with the team and even hoist up Lord Stanley's Cup herself! Things could not have not have gone better for Laila the super fan! An amazing kid, incredible story, and absolutely wonderful Good News!
