Panama City, FL - A bizarre disturbance inside a Florida craft store led to panic among shoppers and resulted in an arrest just days before Christmas.

Panama City police say officers were dispatched Monday evening to a Hobby Lobby on East 23rd Street after multiple callers reported a man running through the store completely nude.

According to the arrest report, the suspect was later identified as 31-year-old Zyreece Guy.

Investigators allege Guy first removed his clothing outside a nearby dental office before entering the busy retail store during peak holiday shopping hours.

Once inside, police say he ran through aisles and approached customers and employees, causing several people to flee the area in fear.

Witnesses reported shoppers abandoning carts and hiding in different sections of the store as employees attempted to usher customers away from the suspect.

Authorities allege the situation escalated when Guy made physical contact with at least one individual.

The arrest report states that he allegedly struck a person in the jaw with his elbow as someone tried to block his path.

Police also allege additional unwanted contact occurred before officers arrived.

When law enforcement attempted to take Guy into custody, he allegedly resisted commands.

Officers reportedly deployed a Taser after verbal efforts failed, but the device did not immediately subdue him.

Police say Guy continued to resist before being restrained and removed from the store.

Guy was transported to the Bay County Jail and booked on multiple charges, including indecent exposure, battery, and resisting an officer without violence.

Jail records indicate he was held on a $35,000 bond.

No serious injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.
