Ft. Lauderdale unveiling a new and updated mural at the Governmental Center Parking Garage. Mayor Beam Furr says the piece, called "Tropical Solace", replaces the old garage mural criticized for being racist and tone deaf. Since 1988, the five-story mural depicted various historical scenes in Broward including an image of former Florida Governor Napoleon Bonaparte Broward, known for being a segregationist. Residents weighed in on a survey sent out last year and decided the new installation should depict the Everglades.
