An event meant to help protect sea turtles is getting a boost this year. The annual TurtleFest at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach snagged Amazon as a presenting sponsor.

It's also expanded to a two-day event for the fist time, running tomorrow and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.

Loggerhead Director of Education Hannah Campbell tells CBS 12 News what she hopes the event accomplishes.

"Our goal is to keep these sea turtles safe by informing yourself while also having a great time. Informing yourselves and sharing what you learn with your colleagues, your friends, your family. All of that will help sea turtles and that's what we hope for this weekend."

It's a free event featuring exhibits, live music, vendors and games. Also, guests can visit with the patients at the open-air sea turtle hospital.

Parking will be at FPL's headquarters down the road with a free shuttle available.
