Private High-Speed Rail Service Brightline Announces Its Service To Start Next Week

Another person on the train tracks has been killed after a Brightline train struck them. This time in Delray Beach this morning.

Police say the crash happened just before 11 a.m. near the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Railroad Avenue.

Few details have been released regarding why the person was on the tracks, which is considered trespassing.

Authorities have deemed nearly all such cases in the past to be linked to suicide.

The city says Southeast 1st Avenue is back open to traffic, but Southeast 2nd Street remains closed.
