Music is extremely powerful.........and therapeutic. Writing and performing a song is how a handful of Hurricane Ian survivors handled loss after the historic storm devastated Southwest Florida.
North Port, Florida was hit HARD by Hurricane Ian in late September. This community specifically endured some of the worst flood damage from the storm. Rock Box Music School (based in North Port) is a business that provides a space for all things music. One of their students, Andy Johnson, wrote and performed a song about the experience called, "The Storm".
