Gabby Petito Autopsy Results, Press Conference Tuesday at 2:30pm

A Wyoming coroner will give an official update o Gabby Petito’s autopsy during a briefing with news reporters on Tuesday, officials said.

Petito’s death was ruled a homicide, but officials have disclosed few details publicly about how she died or about the state of her body when it was found.

The ruling on the autopsy may also include details such as when Petito died.

The 22-year-old Long Island native disappeared in late August while on an ill-fated cross-country trip with her boyfriend Brian Laundrie, who is now one of the most well-known fugitives in the US.

Petito was reported missing by her parents in Suffolk County on Long Island on Sept. 11, more than a week after Laundrie returned to his parents’ home in Florida – without Petito. Her remains were found in a remote camping site in Wyoming on Sept. 19.

Laundrie, 23, remains the sole person of interest in the case although he hasn’t been accused of being involved in her death. The boyfriend, who has been on the lam for the last month, is being sought for illegally using Petito’s credit card around the time she was last seen alive.
