Slash has provided the most credible evidence yet that Guns N' Roses does indeed have more new music on the way.

Just about a week since rumors of a new GNR single began bubbling, Slash shared via TikTok a clip from soundcheck of the band rehearsing a song fans believe to be titled "Hard School."

The footage was from the band's soundcheck at Wrigley Field in Chicago last week, however, the song was not included in the set from that evening.

Guns N' Roses has two shows this week — one tonight (Tuesday, September 21) in St. Paul, Minnesota, and another on Thursday in Columbus, Ohio.

When Guns N' Roses released "ABSURD" in August, the band debuted the song at a Tuesday gig in Boston and then played it again two nights later in East Rutherford, New Jersey, before it was released worldwide on Friday.

GNR Twitter was abuzz last week after a story began circulating that Axl Rose himself had played the new song for a fan after GNR's recent show in Atlantic City, NJ. Rose apparently told the fan that the song would be released "soon."

Diehard GNR fans may be familiar with "Hard School," as it was one of several Chinese Democracy-era tracks that was performed live in the early-2000s but didn't make the final cut of the 2008 album. As with "ABSURD," the revamped version of Guns N' Roses with Slash and Duff McKagan has apparently reimagined the song ahead of its eventual release.
