Due to a shortage of drivers, Manatee County Recycling and Yard Waste is extending the alternating pickup schedule through September. They are prioritizing trash pickup so that will remain twice a week every week. They are in need of people with a commercial driver's license (CDL). New employeess will receive a $1K bonus supplement for joining the county, and current drivers will recieve a $2K retention supplement.
Here are the upcoming dates for yard waste and recycling in Manatee County.
- Yard Waste: Week of 8/30 - 9/3
- Recycling: Week of 9/6 - 9/10
- Yard Waste: Week of 9/13 - 9/17
- Recycling: Week of 9/20 - 9/24
