Little Women: Atlanta’s Ashley “Minnie” Ross has died. She was 34.
Ross, better known as Minnie on the popular reality television show, was killed following a tragic hit-and-run car accident, her management announced via her Instagram account.
"It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka 'Ms Minnie' of Little Women: Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34,” her management confirmed to PEOPLE. “The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
Per Minnie’s publicist Liz Dixson, the reality star was “gravely injured” after another vehicle collided with hers near Old National Hwy in Atlanta around 11 p.m. on Sunday (April 26). Unfortunately, Minnie succumbed to her injuries the next day at Grady Memorial Hospital at around 10:30 p.m.
After the news broke, several stars of the Little Women franchise shared emotional tribute posts in Minnie’s memory.
"As I’m writing this I’m in tears I can’t believe it my Minnie !!!! Why did they take you away from us !!!! WHY!!!!! It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is," Minnie’s longtime friend and costar, Amanda Salinas, captioned a series of photos on Instagram of them together. "I wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later which along with you is gone forever 💔 I promise to keep you alive in my memories and be there for your mama and aunt."
"Ms Minnie you will be missed RIH girlie. My condolences to her friends and family 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 #LWATL #Lifetime #msminnie #gonetosoon,” wrote Little Women: LA star Tonya Banks, as LWA co-star Shirlene ‘Ms. Juicy’ Pearson added, “Prayers for Minnie’s family!!!”
Before the show, Minnie, who starred on the show since its inception in 2016, was a hairstylist before going on to pursue careers in the radio and the music industry. She is survived by her mother, Tammy, aunt Veronica, uncle John, and grandmother Rose.
