Mookie Betts Delivers on Kid's Make-A-Wish.....Three Times!

Boston Red Sox player, Mookie Betts, is a star on and off the field. In 2018, Betts was named the American League Most Valuable Player and helped lead the Red Sox to their World Series Championship. However, what he does off the field is just as important.

Last week, Betts visited a 10-year-old boy named Nico in the hospital. Nico is part of the Make-A-Wish program and meeting his favorite player was his wish. While spending time with Mookie at the hospital (and at the game later) he asked if Betts could hit a home run for him.

Mookie delivered by not only hit one home run, but THREE HOME RUNS! Nico was present to witness this amazing evening. Betts' first three at bats were all home runs and they happened before the end of the 4th inning! To make it even sweeter, this outstanding effort was against Boston's arch rivals, the New York Yankees.

This is just one example of how amazing sports can be.....Mookie you are awesome and we wish Nico the best!

That's your GOING, GOING, GONE GOOD NEWS, BABY!
