The first part of this story is good news in and of itself, Zoe Figueroa is a third-grader whose cancer is in remission! She is from Lakeside, California, and recently completed her final treatment for stage 4 neuroblastoma. The second part of this story is pretty awesome too. For her birthday this year, she asked loved ones to give gifts to the sick kids at the hospital where she was treated. Her guests donated 200 presents and they also raised $750 for cancer research.
