Remorseful Thieves Return Stolen Package to Young Boy with Brain Tumor

Two women are begging for forgiveness and pledging to get sober after finding out they stole from a sick five-year-old. They stole a package from a porch that was a wrestling belt that gives the kid courage and comfort. After video of their crime was shared with local news, the porch pirates returned the wrestling belt and wrote a letter asking for forgiveness.

Timmy Vick is five years old and was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. To prepare for surgery, his father got him his own custom wrestling belt decorated by wrestling belt artist, Sergio Moreira. The artist never got the chance because the belt was stolen off Timmy's front porch. Video footage from their front door camera was shared on the Edgewood Police Department's Facebook page and within just TWO days, the thieves brought back the box with a four-page apology letter.

The two women who stole the box are homeless and addicted to drugs. They were crying and appeared to be genuinely sorry when they returned the box. "We never wanted to steal a child's hope, after seeing ourselves looking like low lives on the news, we have both decided to get clean and sober."

The Vick family does not plan on pressing charges and Timmy hugged both of them.
