"Right Here Right Now".....We are Having This Week's Baby Classic!

When a hit song turns 25 years old it is officially of age to be called a "classic hit". When they are new to this classification, they are just cute little baby classics! This week's baby classic is.....

Jesus Jones,"Right Here, Right Now" (1991)

This song was inspired by the band's travel and events in Europe during the late '80s specifically regarding the Soviet Union. Jesus Jones is a British alternative dance band who had mild success on the UK charts with "Right Here, Right Now". It wasn't until they released the single in the United States that it shot up the Billboard charts to become a top ten hit. It never reached #1 but that was due to competing with Bryan Adams' MONSTER #1 "Everything I Do, I Do it For You". The single sold over 1 million copies, won a BMI award and was the most played song in college radio for the entire year of 1991.

Flip that hat bill straight up and tight roll those light wash jeans........here's Jesus Jones and "Right Here, Right Now".
