Mom Uses App to Save Daughter from Death in Ditch

If you have an iPhone, you already have the "Find My Friends" app loaded on it. If you haven't activated it, after hearing this story, you may just do so! A North Carolina mom is crediting the "Find My Friends" app for saving her daughter's life after she had crashed her car down a ravine in North Carolina.

When 17-year-old Macy Smith missed curfew for the first time, her mother knew something was wrong. After several hours of waiting, Catrina Alexander sprung in to action. She used the "Find My Friends" app to locate Macy's cell phone via GPS. Macy was found pinned under her car in a ravine. The car hydroplaned, flipped over three times and fell down a 25-foot embankment. She was trapped for over seven hours.

They both encourage everyone to activate the app for emergencies!
