Girl Invents Medi Teddy Out From Her Fear of IV Bags

Even though she is a just young kid, Ella Casano has experienced plenty of IV's and medical treatment. She knows how scary the tubing and medical equipment can be for children, so she invented the Medi Teddy. She cut up a stuffed animal and used a hot glue gun to make her very first Medi Teddy. The teddy is strapped to the IV pole and helps disguise the liquid, tubes and "scary stuff".

She got input from nurses, started the patent and prototype process, and there is a GoFundMe to raise money for the project. Check out the GoFundMe here.

Ella.....you were thinking of other kids while going through your own health issues and that shows you have such a big heart! You are awesome....and this is your good news, baby!
