Gym Owner Helps Young Man with Down Syndrome

A gym manager in Rhode Island went out of his way to help one of the members and it will make your day! Daniel Cote became friends with one of his regular members named CJ. CJ is a 22-year-old man living with down syndrome. Recently, Daniel noticed his friend arrived for his workout in the wrong footwear. CJ had on large boots which are too dangerous for the workout class he attends. Daniel knew that not being allowed in the class would ruin CJ's routine, so he sprung in to action. Daniel ran to a sports store a few doors down and purchased new tennis shoes for CJ. This act of kindness was captured by CJ's caretaker and it is going viral for all the right reasons.

"Watching his face light up and knowing his day was made impacted me in a positive way," Daniel said. "I realized that the smallest act of kindness can have a lasting impact on someone."
