BABY CLASSIC: Mariah Carey's "I'll Be There"

What's a "Baby Classic" you ask? It's a mega-hit that has just recently been birthed into "classic hits" status (a.k.a. 25+ years old!) Okay baby... "just call my naaaame....I'll be there!"

This week's baby classic reached #1 on Billboard's Top 100 chart, in July of 1992. Mariah's version of the 1970 hit from the Jackson 5, "I'll Be There", stayed on top for 2 weeks. This hit was a last minute addition to her MTV Unplugged set list.
