BABY CLASSIC: Aerosmith's "Cryin'" is 25 Years Old

What's a "Baby Classic" you ask? It's a mega-hit that has just recently been birthed into "classic hits" status (a.k.a. 25+ years old!)

From Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, on this week, in 1993 the #1 song was Aerosmith’s “Cryin’”. This summer hit spent six weeks at #1 and was off their smash album “Get a Grip”. You may remember the popular music video featuring Alicia Silverstone who got her belly button pierced and bungee jumped off a roof. The video also launched the acting career of Steven Tyler's daughter, Liv.

Other things that happened this week in 1993:

Movies: Free Willy ($20M) and Hocus Pocus ($28M)

Birthdays: Jordan Spieth (July 1993) (PGA Tour Champion)
