Help us make a World War II veteran's birthday wish come true! For his 100th birthday, Isaac "Ike" Fabela wants to get 100 cards in the mail! He said he has everything he needs already so he would love to get 100 cards. The WWII veteran will be checking his mailbox because his dream is to receive cards from all over.
Ike Fabela was en route to Normandy on his 26th birthday, which happened to be June 6th, 1944.... otherwise known as D-Day! He was pulled off of the boat at the last moment. This wonderful twist of fate could be the reason Fabela is alive today. He is a father of eight daughters and lives in Montrose, Michigan.
