Most women are aware that they should look for lumps in their breasts to detect breast cancer early, but there are other things to be on the lookout for as well, and a brave survivor is sharing her story to get the word out about one of them.
Sherrie Rhodes posted a photo on Facebook, showing some dimpling on the side of her breast. A couple days after noticing it, she went to her doctor who recommended a mammogram which confirmed she had breast cancer. The dimpling was the only symptom Sherrie noticed.
Fortunately, Sherrie, a mother of three, caught it early because she had seen a post about breast dimpling, and with her post now going viral, many other women are now aware of the early warning sign and will hopefully follow in her footsteps and catch it early.
