Legendary music producer Clive Davis died Monday (June 22) at his home in New York City, per The New York Times. He was 94.

Though no cause of death was given, the iconic music executive recently had been recovering following a hospital stay.

The Grammy-winning record producer was released from a New York City hospital on June 4. Per TMZ, the music mogul had been admitted to the hospital for an upper respiratory infection.

The noted record executive faced health issues previously. In 2021, he postponed his annual star-studded Grammy gala after being diagnosed with Bell's palsy.

Davis notably co-founded Arista Records and has signed some of music's biggest stars, including Neil Diamond, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Bruce Springsteen and Aerosmith, according to his website. He's also credited for shaping the careers of Whitney Houston, Kelly Clarkson and Aretha Franklin.
