Wyland is a world famous marine life artist known for his gorgeous murals, dreamy aquatic galleries and conservationism. His next project, Tuttle Elementary School in Sarasota!
The Wyland Foundation teamed up with the National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation 10 years ago to urge Americans to take small actoins to reduce water waste. This is all in an effort to promote the health and sustainability of our water-based ecosystems.
Wyland will be at Tuttle Elementary School in Sarasota, April 1st at 11 a.m. to paint a mural on the school building. The 10th anniversary kickoff event will include a live mural painting by Wyland for Tuttle Elementary and remarks by Sarasota Mayor Hagen Brody and representatives from Mote Marine Laboratory. The event will be broadcast on Zoom; those interested can register to attend here.
