It was one of the first things we saw after moving to Sarasota from Upstate New York - the famous 'Kissing Statue'! Or what's referred to in this article as the 'Unconditional Surrender' statue - and you know right where it is...downtown Sarasota, in front of the Marina just before the turn to cross the bridge to St. Armand's Circle (Gulfstream Ave, U.S. 41) - for now!
