A Dozen Good Samaritans Help Flip Overturned Truck on Illinois Highway

Over a dozen strangers worked together to rescue a man who was trapped upside down in his truck. Orlando Hernandez was driving on a busy Illinois highway when the tire blew on his Ford Ranger. This sent the truck into a tailspin, it then flipped over and landed upside down. Good samaritans, mostly nearby construction workers, rushed to turn over the vehicle. An off-duty firefighter, Tom Meyers, also stopped to help. Meyers cut the seat belt and helped Hernandez climb out of the vehicle.

Thankfully, police report that he wasn’t seriously injured.

I know we don't always stop to help when things happen, but if you can....you should! These men did and it could have saved a man's life. Great job good samaritans, and that's your good news, baby!
