Researchers at the University of South Florida have reason to believe that marijuana could be the key in developing the most effective treatment for Alzheimer’s disease in history.

That’s right … weed … the miracle drug.

It seems that very small doses of THC, the chemical in pot that gets you high, slows the production of a protein that leads to Alzheimer’s.

Low doses of THC were also found to strengthen organisms that supply energy to the brain and transmit signals.
