Lying on a resume or embellishing your experiences is something that most job applicants do, and most employers say they often catch fibbers.

According to new Harris poll, 60 percent of hiring managers say they've found lies on applicants' resumes, and many employers say they're seeing it more and more frequently now. The most common lies found on resumes are academic degrees, phony job titles, dates of employment, skills and responsibilities.

The poll finds that the biggest liars are in the financial services and the most honest applicants are in retail.
