A company in Texas is offering a service for grieving pet owners that includes blasting the cremated remains of dead pets into space.

The company – Celestis – has been sending human remains into space since 1997, and now it’s moving into pets, with packages costing anywhere from $995 to $12,500.

The cheapest service lets your pet’s ashes fly into space on a commercial flight and then come back to you. The most expensive service actually launches the remains into deep space or even to the moon.

The first pet-remains flight will take place in October of this year for Apollo, a Australian shepherd.
