A FORECLOSURE NEXT DOOR MIGHT RAISE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE

Posted May 14th, 2014 @ 10:39am

According to a new study, the stress of living near a foreclosed home may increase your chances of developing high blood pressure.

Researchers found that each foreclosure within 100 yards of a person’s home affected their systolic blood pressure, which is the top number in the reading.

The neighbors could be worried that foreclosures are hurting their home values or concerned about the safety of their communities. And that anxiety – of course – can boost blood pressure.
