Since 2020, a phenomenon called "quiet quitting" grew to be a regular occurrence in the work place. Basically, it is when someone is not happy with their current job and the demands so they quietly give less and less effort. This results in them either giving up completely and leaving, OR they get fired for that lack of effort. Either way, this young man decided to do the opposite.
